A wise friend who reads this blog suggested that I identify myself, since it's been over a year since my last post and those of you who have posts emailed to you do not see the actual web address.
So, this is Erika. :) I apologize for any confusion.
Thanks so much for reading these posts, long ago and now. Upon my return from Outreach, I fully intended to share about the experience promptly. I found the processing/summarizing process to be much more challenging than I expected, however, and the days turned to weeks and then months... Maybe it took the last year for me to realize that my approach was wrong and that "it's not about me"; maybe that's why it's been so difficult to sum everything up. I'm still thinking about these things and learning from them though, so perhaps there will be more to share soon.
May the kingdom of God come soon...
